Physical Development

Physical Development

During the primary school years (typically ages 6 to 11), children experience significant physical development as they grow and mature. Our N-KIDZ programs focus on physical development milestones that primary school and those students may experience include:

Improved coordination and fine motor skills: Primary school students may develop better coordination and fine motor skills, allowing them to perform tasks such as tying their shoes, using scissors, and writing more neatly.

Increased muscle strength and endurance: As children grow and become more active, they may develop greater muscle strength and endurance, which can help with activities such as running, jumping, and playing sports.

Height and weight gain: Primary school students typically experience significant growth in height and weight as they mature.

Improved balance and coordination: Children may also improve their balance and coordination as they grow, which can help with activities such as riding a bike or participating in sports.

Greater independence: As children's physical skills improve, they may become more independent and able to perform tasks such as getting dressed and brushing teeth on their own.

It is important for primary school students to have opportunities to be physically active and to engage in activities that support their physical development. This can include things like physical education class, sports teams, and other organized activities, as well as free play and physical activity at home. N-KIDZ facilitates it.
